Founded in 1988, the Owensmouth Historical Society is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to preserving historic landmarks in the San Fernando Valley. Its collection includes books, pamphlets, documents, and artifacts. The museum features exhibits related to the Chumash tribe, Mexican settlers, and European settlers.
