The 8th hole has a distinctive design, and the 10th is a narrow, downhill par-3. The 13th and 16th holes are the only holes on the back nine that are downhill.

The course is located on the south side of the San Fernando Valley. The Woodland Hills Golf Shop hosts a variety of golf tournaments throughout the year. The Woodland Hills Country Club also hosts qualifying rounds for USGA tournaments.
